A growth-oriented international trading company headquartered in Edmonton is seeking a candidate with a proven work ethic and a track record of reliability to fill the position of Customer Service Representative & Accounting Assistant. Reporting to the Controller, this position is responsible for relationship-building interaction with valued customers and suppliers, import/export documentation management, bookkeeping assistance to the Controller, and reception/office administration. Requirements for this position: Accounting or Bookkeeping Diploma (equivalent experience will be considered), Intermediate Excel skills and MS Office software knowledge, and a minimum of 10 years of related experience. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, is very detail-oriented and organized, possesses effective communication skills as well as a positive, proactive and collaborative attitude. The ability to read and write Mandarin and/or Cantonese and experience with Sage 50 would be assets. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate''s skills and experience.
